After the success of the Extra Care Facility provided for Axiom Housing Association as part of a larger mixed residential development for Accent Nene Ltd. brp architects have been appointed by Larkfleet Homes in association with Larkpoint to develop a new scheme for Axiom at Eye near Peterborough.
The proposals, now in for Planning approval, comprise a new 52 unit Extra Care Facility supported by a further 12 Close Care Bungalows. The main building will offer high quality residential accommodation as well as a wide range of amenity and communal spaces.
It is intended that the Extra Care accommodation acts as a community hub, offering facilities, not only to residents of the main building but also to the bungalows and to the wider local population.
